QUESTIONS

  • Are your products natural?
    Our wax melts are all made using a mix of either essential oils, dried botanicals, fragrance oils & soy wax. Each package comes with a CLP sticker on the outside of the package with full disclosure of all ingredients and allergens.
  • Are your products vegan & environmentally friendly?
    Yes, we use soya wax which is 100% natural & non of our ingredients use animal products. Our products are a mix of synthetic fragrances. Most of our fragrances are paraben free, but please check the CLP label for each fragrance ingredients. We source our wax responsibly and use local produce where possible. We try to source our botanical toppings from UK growers if they haven't been grown by us in our own home or collected from the local Lincolnshire countryside.
  • When will my melts arrive in the post?
    When your order has officially left us you will get a shipping email and this means it's on it's way to you via Royal Mail. From time to time Royal Mail experience delays due to labour shortages and increased demand. Please allow up to 10 working days from your despatch notification before contacting us to chase your order. If you still haven’t received your order after 10 working days, please email our customer service team at info@botanicalmelts.com and will be in touch with you.
  • Are you CLP compliant?
    Yes, All of our wax melts and wax melt sets come with a CLP Label on the back of the packaging that has all of the ingredients and warnings needed for all of our fragrances. Please be assured that all Botanical Melts products comply with CLP requirements. Just like any other pick & mix, mixing the fragrances is only an issue if you don't display all of the ingredients, so regardless of which wax melts you choose you will get the CLP information for all of our melts.
  • Are your melts safe to burn around pets?
    Like humans pets have allergies too and are unique to that pet. All of our products come with a CLP label that lists ingredients and warns of allergens. As much as we love our own doggies we aren't experts and believe Its personal choice whether you use fragrance around animals. Please take advise from a professional if you are concerned before burning.
  • How do I clean out my wax melt burner?
    We recommend: wait for it to go hard and it should pop out with a spoon. If you are having trouble getting your wax out pop a lit tea light in the wax melt burner and let it melt for 30 seconds to loosen off before popping it out. Keep in mind as your wax melt burner gets old it may lose it's glaze and this can make it harder to remove the wax. A perfect excuse to treat yourself to a new one.
  • I'm not happy with one or some of your products, what do I do?
    We're sorry your not happy with one of our products this is rare to us but we understand it happens. If you'd like to take the issue up with us then please contact our customer service team at info@botanicalmelts.com and we'd be happy to help.
  • How do I add to my order? I've already checked out.
    Due to the system we use unfortunately you cant add to your order once you have checked out, as our system does not allow us to do this. However, we can cancel your order and you can place a new one if you'd like. Please email info@botanicalmelts.com if you would like to do this.
  • How do I cancel my order?
    Please email us at info@botanicalmelts.com with your order number and we can get this sorted out for you.
  • How does the subscription work?
    By signing up to our wax melt subscription service we will select wax melts to send you each month and they'll either be one of our collections or be based around the seasons, a lovely surprise each month through the post. A perfect choice for those who want to try a bit of all the scents we have. By subscribing you make a saving on the melts and the postage & packaging is free.   • How do I cancel my subscription?
    Oh man! it's a shame to see you leave us. If you'd like to cancel your subscription please email us at: info@botanicalmelts.com and we aim to respond within 1 business day.
  • How do you take payment for my monthly subscription?
    A direct debit will be created, so it will automatically be taken out of your bank account each month until cancelled. If you want to cancel please email us at: info@botanicalmelts.com and we aim to respond within one business day.
  • Can you mix your melts?
    We wouldn't recommend mixing our scents each melt is made with a stand out scent that when melted deserves to be centre stage on it's own.
  • Why aren't all your melts identical?
    Each batch of fragrances we make are made using the same recipe each time. they are poured by hand and once cooling the botanicals are added by Lauren. Like people we celebrate the uniqueness each melt brings and because no two melts have the same botanicals we love that each of them has their own little differences and character. One thing you can be sure of is the effort and quality of every melt is the very best.
  • Do Wax Melts expire?
    If stored correctly in a cool dark place your wax melts can last for years. Some even say that the scent throw is stronger the longer they are left because of the extra time they have to cure. All of our wax melts have been stored in the perfect setting with plenty of time to cure to ensure we have the strongest scent throw by the time you are ready to take them home.
